ATF INSPECTION PITS

SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Pit Length:

13m, comprising 2x 2.65m long tunnels

​

Jacking Rails:

Twin 150mm x 75mm PFC jacking rails set onto 75x75x6 RSA

​

Tunnels: One tunnel with stairs and one with a ladder.

Both tunnels come with 1850mm long, 25mm thick drive-over plates.

​

Pit Width:

1000mm, Tunnels 820mm, and Stairs 800mm

​

Depth: 1650mm

​

Detachable Section: For installation of pit jack

​

Side Tracks:

Raised side tracks for working platform, 1m long

​

Lighting and Power:

1500mm LED Waterproof bulkhead tube lights, 2x 110v socket, airline with 2x QR take-off points, and 2x termination boxes wired in conduit.

CONSTRUCTION

​

  • Fully braced external walls made of 5mm thick welded recessed steel pressing

  • 6mm thick pressed durbar floor sloping to centre sump with 6mm cover.

  • Externally painted with container paint.

  • Internally painted with two coats of primer and enamel white topcoat.

​

INSTALLATION

​

  • Disposable internal bracing fitted, board covers, and polythene cover.

  • Supplied as bolt-to-base installation or suspended installation.

​

Working Platform:

Braced aluminium checker plate or GRP working platform

​

Warranty:

10-year warranty against water ingress.

​

Certification:

All welders are coded and CSCS certified.

Class 4 Inspection Pit:

  • Length: 6 metres

  • Working Length: 4.5 metres

  • Internal Depth: 1650mm

  • Width: Either 820mm or 900mm internally

Class 7 Inspection Pit:

  • Length: 7.5 metres

  • Working Length: 6 metres

  • Internal Depth: 1650mm

  • Width: Either 900mm or 1000mm internally
